EDDIE HEARN has waded into Daniel Dubois’ low-blow controversy against Oleksandr Usyk.
The Ukrainian retained his world heavyweight title with a ninth-round stoppage in Poland on Saturday.

However, Dubois feels he should be the new champion after downing Usyk in the fifth round.
The Brit knocked his opponent to the canvas with a heavy shot to the midriff.
But it was controversially called a low blow, leading to fans raging about the fight being “fixed.”
Many people have had their say on the matter, with some believing that Dubois should now be king of the ring instead of Usyk.
Yet boxing promoter Hearn reckons the ref was correct to mark Dubois’ punch as low.
Answering questions on Instagram, Hearn was asked by a fan: “Low blow or not?”
He replied: “The entire fist was below the navel, the bottom knuckle’s miles below.
“It hit his protector – low blow.”

Following his defeat, heartbroken Dubois vowed to fight for an overturned result.
And he hopes to get another shot at Usyk with a rematch.
Dubois declared: “This wrong needs to be corrected.
“This needs to go further, it needs to be pushed.
“I should be a world champion right now. It wasn’t justice.
“It needs to be called out and go further than living this lie. They just cheated out there.
“I definitely want a rematch, get justice, get a rematch, get something to happen.”
