Eddie Hall confirms he’s ready ‘to throw bombs and butt heads’ with WWE legend Hulk Hogan as mega-fight edges closer

EDDIE HALL says he’s ready to “throw bombs and butt heads” with WWE legend Hulk Hogan.

That’s as a potential mega-fight edges closer following the veteran wrestler’s dramatic body transformation.

Hogan, 69, is training SIX times a week after a new diet helped him drop 40 pounds following numerous injuries and surgeries.

The WWE Hall of Famer wasn’t even able to feel his legs after going under the knife in January.

But Hogan’s incredible comeback and new ripped physique left fitness model Danni Levy impressed.

The Muscle and Health editor, who hosted last year’s ‘Heaviest Boxing Fight in History’ between Hall and rival Hafthor Bjornsson, reckons Hogan could take on either strongman in a stunning return.

And Hall has now issued a fiery response, admitting he’d put everything on the line to go up against one of wrestling’s biggest legends.

Hall, World’s Strongest Man winner in 2017, declared: “Would I wrestle Hulk Hogan? Hell yeah. That guy was a legend in my household growing up.

“In the nicest possible way, it would be amazing to throw bombs and butt heads with Hogan.”

However, Hall faces competition to fight Hogan from rival Bjornsson.

The Icelandic Game of Thrones actor beat Hall in their boxing fight.

And he is eager to next test his skills in the wrestling ring.

Bjornsson, World’s Strongest Man winner in 2018, added: “I would 100 per cent wrestle Hulk Hogan.

“He’s a god in the wrestling community and it would be awesome to have a match against him.”

Reflecting on Hogan’s incredible conditioning, Danni told SunSport: “All jokes aside, Hulk was in incredible shape.

“He told me how he still trains six days a week and sticks to a really strict diet.

“Eddie and Thor are both super strong and their size can’t be matched, but when it comes to aesthetics, Hulk could put most 30-year-olds to shame.

“Wrestling is all about technique and I’d love to see Eddie or Thor take on Hulk — that would make for an interesting match that’s for sure!

“Back in the days of WWE, these athletes were getting off long-haul flights and straight into the ring.

“They didn’t get to bed until 4am, there was no messing around.

“A lot of people claim wrestling was all pantomime, but Hulk’s had twenty-five surgeries in the past ten years to prove them wrong.

“We’ve seen boxers fight MMA stars and we’ve seen strongmen transition to boxing, but we’re yet to see a veteran wrestler take on a strongman.  Let’s get ready to rumble, I say!”
