But teen star Mainoo secured all three points with a winner in the 98th minute.
The 4-3 final score saw United climb to seventh in the Premier League table.
And players joined in wild celebrations as Mainoo toasted his latest success.
However, Garnacho was also spotted celebrating the winner despite being subbed off in the 92nd minute.
The Argentine ace ran the full length of the pitch from the bench in full kit as he partied with teammates on the pitch.
But Garnacho’s efforts did not go unnoticed, with the referee showing him a yellow card for leaving United’s area.
Fans were certainly left tickled by the incident.
