One bargain hunter spotted the reduced item at her local store and couldn’t wait to share it.
She posted the stools to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group.
Sharing photos of the chairs both in their boxes and in her home, the shopper wrote: “Check out your local Dunelm! They’ve had some fab bargains.”
Fellow deal-finders were quick to share their thoughts on the bargains and the post was met with 350 comments and 420 likes.
One said: “These are so nice!”
Another tagged their pal and commented: “This is beautiful.”
A third wrote: “We went to an outlet in Rushden and got some!”
A fourth posted: “Ohhh love them!”
While a fifth said: “They’re gorgeous!”
And another shopper commented: “I want this or something like it for the kitchen.”
“Omg these are lush,” one bargain hunter declared.
Others simply commented “need”, while some shared photos of the stools in their own homes after rushing out to pick them up.
The chairs are only available for this price in-store, they’re still full price at £89 each on the Dunelm website.
You can find your nearest store using the locator tool on the chain’s website.
Each of the stools is 96cm tall, 44cm wide and 52cm deep.
They’re made of soft boucle upholstery and have a mechanism to alter their height as well.
Dunelm’s description of the chairs describes them as “elegant” and “visually striking”.
It also reads: “Its sleek and streamlined design effortlessly blends into various interior styles, making it a versatile choice for any home decor.”
Of course, it’s worth bearing in mind that while the stools are reduced in some Dunelm stores, it might not be the case at other branches.
Usually, individual stores tend to massively reduce items like this when they want to clear excess stock.
That means you’ve got to be quick in spotting and bagging them too.
It’s always worth phoning your local store before you head down there to make sure you’re not disappointed.
Remember as well, you should always shop around when buying something like this.
Just because Asda has reduced it to £22.25, that doesn’t mean you can’t get it cheaper elsewhere.
You can use the Google Shopping search tool or websites like pricespy.co.uk which lets you compare products and their prices.
Although, in this case, you won’t find the exact same product at other retailers as it’s exclusive to Dunelm.
We looked online for similar-styled products and couldn’t find any cheaper than Dunelm’s though.
We found one at Argos for £140, and another at The Range for £50.
Wayfair is also selling a set of two for £117, while Cult Furniture has some for £60 each.
The bar stools aren’t the only item reduced at the furniture store recently.
Shoppers raved about a “blissful” winter essential “everyone should have” to keep warm at night and it’s free to run.
They’ve also been rushing to buy a “brilliant” tool for drying your laundry.
And if you are still trying to hold off from reaching for the thermostat this winter the chain may have the answer.
Meanwhile, Asda shoppers have been going wild for a “cute” homeware item scanning at £3.50.
Plus, shoppers are rushing to Home Bargains to get their hands on a beloved discontinued chocolate bar made by Mars.
