First, drivers need to put the car temperature on high and put the rear windscreen fan on max.

And then ice or fog will start to meal away due to the heat.

Then, drivers need to wipe away water excess and return the fan to normal.

Spraying your windscreen with a solution of water and vinegar every night before going to bed can also help prevent any icy build-up.

If you don’t have vinegar, some drivers say you can rub an onion on your windscreen.

Cut one in half and then rub it generously all over the windows and windscreen the night before.

If drivers do not have the option to park their cars inside, they can use an old or spare bed sheet to help prevent fog and ice.

But if you are in a rush, you can always use an ice scraper.

Car experts also recommend using de-icing fluid, which speeds up the ice-scrapping process and can be bought at most supermarkets and petrol stations.

Shockingly, spraying your windscreen with vodka will eliminate the ice on your windscreen in a few seconds too.
