DRIVERS are just realising an incredible 80p household item than gets their car clean in a flash.
The item is even better than a vacuum and is perfect if you have a pet who has left hair in your vehicle.

The motoring team at LeaseCar.uk recommend using rubber gloves to remove the fur – and here’s how.
Friction from rubbing over your seats and car interior with rubber gloves will lift off any pet hairs that a vacuum cleaner or brush will find tricky to remove.
The pet hairs and lint will stick to the rubber gloves making for a quick cleaning method.
Rubber gloves can be brought for just 80p from Wilko and many other stores.
Tim Alcock, from LeaseCar.uk said: “There are plenty of unusual items in your house that you can use to clean the inside and outside of your car.
“You don’t need to invest in expensive cleaning materials or pay for a professional to do the work because items from around your home can do the job just as well.”
Tim also gave some more top tips for car cleaning.
He added: “Using nail polish to fill in scratches and hair conditioner to remove grime build up are just some of the easy and affordable hacks to clean your car.
“And rubbing an onion over leather seats will reduce the appearance of marks and cracks. Toothpaste can also be used to prevent foggy headlights by removing surface stains.”
It comes as a car cleaning expert issued an urgent warning over putting your motor through a quick wash – claiming it could cost hundreds.
North Wales-based valeting firm Auto Reflect Detailing posted a TikTok clip explaining the costly mistake.
It said: “How do you get your car clean? Do you maintain it yourself?
“Do you have a mobile detailer come to your house?
“Or do you go to your cheap in-and-out car wash?”
And a savvy woman revealed a great hack to dry clean clothes easily inside a washing machine.
While dry cleaning can be a lengthy and expensive process, the smart tip will mimic the same effects while saving both time and money.
Hazel McKinnie, from cleaning company Wee Scotty Cleaners, shared a clip on TikTok in which she revealed the great hack.
She said in the video: “I am just going to show you one of these settings on this machine.
“It’s a Beko. I have had lots of expensive washing machines and I love Beko.”
Hazel then puts a three-piece suit inside the washing machine before putting a laundry pod.
The expert quipped: “Who knew that you could put your suit trousers in? I’ve got a suit jacket and I’ve got a men’s three-piece suit. This says dry clean only but I’m going to show you a wee trick.”
Hazel, who often posts such great cleaning hacks on her TikTok account, tweaked the setting to delicates wash which changed it to a spin setting at 800rpm, on a 40C wash.
“That’s all I want,” she said and waited for the cycle to finish.
After the wash was done, she shared the end results in the video saying: “The wash is finished and the clothes have washed up amazingly.
