Various parties are lining up offers ahead of Friday’s “soft” deadline – with legendary ex-manager Alex Ferguson also tipped to be asked by bidders to help them.
British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe is “determined” to battle it out with American and Middle Eastern investors for the winning offer.
And Old Trafford legend Beckham, 47, is regarded as a priceless acquisition for those hoping to snap up his former club.
The ex-Real Madrid Galactico has invested in football in recent years, namely by creating his own MLS franchise Inter Miami.
But The Telegraph understand he has so far turned down all approaches to be involved in the United bidding.
It’s also suggested he would not be part of any offer from Qatar, despite being made a football ambassador for the country ahead of last year’s World Cup.
Bloomberg claim the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, will be behind a massive bid.
But the keen football fan already owns PSG, bought via Qatar Sports Investment, in 2011.

Uefa rules state if clubs have the the same owners – directly or indirectly – only one of them can play in each European tournament.
That of course would be a huge problem if PSG and United both qualified for the Champions League.
