But the American warned they have more to offer in the future even without the Irish superstar.

White revealed on the Nelk Boys’ podcast that they are discussing a super-fight that could come to fruition.

He said: “We’re talking about one right now, actually, that just popped up a few days ago.

“So, I can’t talk about it until we get everybody…”

White was then asked if it involved McGregor, to which he said: “Well, every fight that you would consider a super-fight would involve McGregor but this one isn’t, no.”

McGregor, 35, was in line to return in April but UFC president White recently hinted it could be pushed back till the summer.

Michael Chandler, 37, is the expected opponent after the pair coached on reality show The Ultimate Fighter together.

And White said: “These guys are all in good positions where they can wait for the right time.

“When you actually think about the fight, Chandler-Conor is a fun f*****g fight. Tell me the last boring fight Chandler was in.

“Even going back to Bellator. He was in exciting fights in Bellator, too. He’s a very good dude.”

McGregor has spent time out in Dubai training for his first fight since July 2021, when he suffered a broken leg against Dustin Poirier, 34.
