DANA WHITE admits he plans to blow fight fans’ minds with the card matchmakers are cooking up for UFC 300.

Matchmakers have slowly been putting the pieces together for the eagerly anticipated card, although no fights have been announced yet.

UFC 100 and 200 respectively delivered some iconic fights which are still talked about to this day, something White hopes to recreate with a stacked show in April.

During an interview with TNT Sports, the veteran promoter said: “What you can expect is the first Prelim of the night for you to be going like, ‘Holy s**t, this is the first prelim of the night?’

“‘This is insane! This isn’t even right! These two shouldn’t be on the first Prelim of the night!’

“That’s how good UFC 300 is gonna be.”

MMA fans around the world are wondering who will top the bill of the Sin City spectacle.

Conor McGregor‘s eagerly-anticipated comeback fight against Michael Chandler was seemingly nailed on to headline the show after it emerged it would be pushed back to 2024.

Although White has cast fresh doubt over the Irishman‘s proposed comeback, saying: “At the end of the day, I say it all the time: Conor is extremely wealthy and has a lot of different options in his life.

“When Conor gets that hunger back and really wants to fight, it’s all up to him.

“If you look at what the guy has accomplished in such a short amount of time, the amount of money he’s made and the business opportunities that he’s taken out of the octagon.

“Conor can do whatever the hell Conor wants to do. And good for him.”

Fan favourite Chandler, however, has a sneaking suspicion he’ll finally get his hands on The Notorious on what promises to be the biggest card of the last decade.

During an appearance on The MMA Hour, he said: “The door opening for this fight with Conor, whenever it’s finally supposed to be, will be.

“And I’m just being at peace in the midst of the waiting and sometimes at the lack of haste that it happened over the last year.”

He added: “That would be a dream scenario [fighting McGregor at UFC 300].

“That’s when I would like to fight, where I would like to fight, [and] who I would want to fight. Chandler vs. Conor is happening.

“I don’t have a date or a location or a UFC number for you but it’s definitely going to happen next year.”
