CRISTIANO RONALDO appeared to perform a traditional Saudi folk dance during Al-Nassr’s 4-0 win over Al-Shabab last night.
The former Manchester United star was in action as his side looked to continue to climb the table early on in the Saudi Pro League season.
Cristiano Ronaldo celebrates scoring from the penalty spot
Ronaldo and Co had begun the campaign with just three points from their opening trio of matches.
But a commanding 4-0 victory had the 38-year-old in a brilliant mood.
The Portuguese recently had a meltdown after feeling his side had been denied three stonewall penalties.
Ronaldo couldn’t have the same complaint last night, as his side were awarded THREE spot kicks during the match.
He netted the first two, and after one of his strikes, appeared to perform a traditional Saudi dance.
The ex-Real Madrid ace could be seen bobbing up and down with his right arm in the air.
Social media users in Saudi Arabia explained that they believed Ronaldo’s celebration was in homage to a Saudi ardah.
The ardah is a folk dance, often accompanied by drums, that can feature two rows of men wielding swords.

One giddy fan tweeted: “Oh world, Cristiano dances, dances, dances the Saudi show, oh world, am I dreaming, or am I aware?”
While a second wrote: “That’s Arabic dance on display.”
Another added: “He’s happy in saudi.”
Ronaldo could have had a hat-trick last night, when Al-Nassr were awarded a third penalty.
But he unselfishly gave the ball to team-mate Abdulrahman Ghareeb, who was yet to get off the mark this season.
Unfortunately, however, Ghareeb’s subsequent spot kick struck the post.
The points were already safe though, thanks to Ronaldo’s double and strikes by Sadio Mane and Sultan Al-Ghannam.
