CONOR MCGREGOR’S pub The Black Forge Inn is promising guests a ‘proper celebration’ ahead of a significant date.
The Drimnagh boozer has hosted a long list of A-list celebrities since its opening in 2021 including comedian Kevin Hart, Arsenal legend Ian Wright, the late rapper Coolio as well as the ‘Notorious’ himself.

The pub announced that it will be hosting a ‘Proper 12 Celebration’ on Monday 12th of December – 12/12/2022 – to honour the Dubliner’s whiskey brand Proper 12.
Taking to social media, they said: “We can’t wait for an extra special Monday. 12.12.22 Proper 12 Day. Get in. Enjoy the live music. Special Menu and Proper Cocktails.”
The pub has already got into the festive spirit as McGregor posed in front of a Christmas tree made from his Proper 12 whiskey bottles.
The pub picked up a number of awards since its opening, including ‘The Best New Bar’ at the Bar of the Year awards in August.
The Black Forge also placed silver for best food and manager as Liam Flynn was named ‘Industry Icon of the Year’.
McGregor captioned a number of pictures as he congratulated the pub.

The former two weight UFC world champion bought the pub in 2019 for nearly €2 million.
A further €1 million was spent on revamping the place with a medieval-style long table branded with McGregor’s Proper Twelve whiskey put in.
They opened their doors for the first time last July and showed off the pub’s plush-looking restaurant area and large beer garden.
