CONOR McGREGOR has now challenged Paul McGrath and PJ Gallagher to face him in a charity boxing fight.
The oddest Irish celebrity beef ever kicked off over the weekend when McGregor issued a vitriolic tweet attacking the comedian.

In it, he said: “@pjgallagher you sad little pox of a thing.
“Sit up and smile for a change will you, you sad c*** hahaha wife left you an (sic) all and your (sic) crying in the paper bout depression, posture like a prawn (laughing emoji).
“Sad b******. I am Ireland. There’s blood on my flag useesoo”.
The awful nature of using Gallagher’s mental health demons against him has backfired on McGregor as the majority of people were appalled by his crass insult.
But he has continued to dig himself into a hole on this.
McGRATH INVOLVEMENT
After Paul McGrath waded in and urged Gallagher to ignore ‘bullies’, the Irish football legend joined McGregor’s growing list of random enemies.
Initially he tried to slag off one of the country’s most beloved sporting figures by labelling him ‘English’.
The Notorious then added: “If someone comes at me I am going to fire back.
“What don’t you get? I didn’t start any of this.
“It was me being bullied originally. Yet you come online to call me a bully.
“Leave me alone. Bullies the lot of ya’s! I have mental health too!”
On Monday, the 63-year-old revealed that he’d since been blocked by McGregor.
But in the latest twist, McGregor now wants to regain McGrath’s attention as well as that of the Radio Nova presenter.
On Tuesday afternoon, he issued a strange call-out considering the ages and fitness levels of both men compared to him.
He tweeted: “I challenge PJ and Paul McGrath to 2 vs 1 boxing match in aid of mental health and anti-bullying organisations.”
RIPPLE EFFECT
The whole utterly weird saga stems from McGregor himself being wrongfully labelled British.
An American broadcaster had mistakenly included him in her list of ‘Top five British fighters’.
To this, Gallagher quipped: “Normally this kind of thing winds me up but they can have this lad.”
The 47-year-old was far from the only person to crack such a gag but given his profile as a public figure, he’s clearly the one who’s gotten on McGregor’s nerves the most for making such a remark.
Gallagher himself took McGregor’s initial derogatory reply in stride as he joked back in response: “Excuse me!
“It took years of hard work and awkward walking to get the posture of a prawn. I am delicious!”
