Conor McGregor shows off insane biceps as UFC star steps up training for return at childhood gym

CONOR MCGREGOR showed off his insane biceps as he stepped up his return to UFC by returning to the Crumlin Dublin boxing gym.

The Notorious, 34, is currently on a two-fight skid following back-to-back defeats to former interim lightweight champion Dustin Poirier.

He snapped his left leg in his rubber match with The Diamond in July 2021 but appears to be on course to return to the octagon later this year.

He has been bulking up, and sharing photos with fans, for several weeks as he continues with his training.

And this week was no different as he revealed his huge biceps while returning to Crumlin Boxing Club to catch up with old friends as well as get a workout in.

McGregor shared a clip of him in the ring practising his hand skills, which he captioned: “Martial art at the school of excellence.”

Then he posted another shot of him getting his hands taped, showing off a huge right bicep in the process, which he captioned with: “Forged! @forgedirishstout @mcgregorfast.”

Despite having his own private gym, the multi-millionaire is a regular at his former haunt.

The Irishman is continuing to try and get back into top condition as he targets a comeback in 2023.

Given his bulked-up frame, it appears he’ll be making welterweight his home from now on rather than try and regain the UFC belt at either lightweight or featherweight.

However, it remains to be seen who will be his first opponent back in the octagon, with Michael Chandler one of the names he has been linked with fighting.

Back in an Instagram Live back in October, McGregor, who has been filming for his role in the upcoming Road House movie, suggested that fans would not have to wait long to see him in action again.

He said: “I’m going to be back soon, hopefully. Early 2023 I’m aiming for. Sometime in that first quarter.

“That will give me a good couple of months [to prepare].

“Once I wrap this [filming for Road House] up in a couple of days, get the camp going [for] a good couple of months. And get going.”
