CONOR McGREGOR has been called out by the UFC’s “most electrifying” fighter Michael Chandler.
The Irishman is primed for a return to action next year and has not been short of offers welcoming him back to the octagon.

Particularly, lightweight contender Chandler has campaigned to be McGregor’s first opponent back.
And the American believes he has the excitement to entice McGregor into a stunning fight for the ages next summer.
He told ESPN: “Tell me who’s a bigger draw or a bigger fight than me and Conor right now?
“And at this point, him coming back what is bigger than Conor McGregor stepping into the octagon with, got to be the most electrifying guy in the UFC right now?

“It feels hard for me to say that but I think it’s the truth. So I think it’s the biggest fight to make.
“It’s the most pay-per-view sales that can be made right now at this current juncture in the entire world of mixed martial arts.
“I think Conor knows it, I think the UFC knows it and I think it’s going to happen, International Fight Week of 2023.”
McGregor, 34, is yet to return since breaking his leg in the first round of his trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier, 33, in July 2021.

He has been ruled out of fighting until 2023, having undertaken his first Hollywood role.
McGregor is starring in a reboot of Patrick Swayze’s 1989 classic Roadhouse, alongside Jake Gyllenhaal.
Meanwhile Chandler, 36, lost in the last round of his thriller against Poirier at UFC 281, his third defeat in four bouts.
