Club denies Taylor Swift cancelled her membership after guests broke ‘no photos’ rule

After reports claimed pop star Taylor Swift cancelled her membership at NYC members-only club Casa Ciprani, the venue has since denied the singer’s snub.

The rumoured move came after other guests broke the “no-snap” policy the club has in place, posting photos of the star on a date with 1975 frontman Matty Healy last month.

The club reportedly bounced the offending members after the ordeal.

The club denies losing Swift as a member, as per Page Six, but confirmed that, “Casa Cipriani revoked memberships to a few members for infringing our club rules.”

The outlet also reported that at the time of the incident that Swift attended with full awareness of the no-photo policy and left as a result of the intrusive snappers.

“They are cracking down now like crazy,” the source said of the club.

The private club reportedly sent a memo out to all of it’s members, writing: “It has come to our attention that images have been captured at the club in recent days that have infringed upon the privacy of our members.”

Page Six claims the memo also included a note that “any member who violates these policies will face immediate revocation of their membership.”

The news comes a week after news of Taylor Swift‘s split with The 1975 frontman Matty Healy came to light.

A source told Entertainment Tonight, however, that incompatibility – and classic scheduling – were the culprits.

Neither Healy, 34, nor Swift, 33, have commented on the reported split themselves, nor did they truly confirm their romance in the first place.
