Clip shows ‘extinct megalodon shark’ attacking ship and breaking it in half – shocked viewers are saying the same thing

A HORRIFYING clip of what looks like an ancient extinct shark destroying a boat has gone viral and viewers are all saying the same thing.

The animated CGI video has over nine million likes on TikTok and imagines how a giant megalodon-like shark would destroy a modern boat.

The megalodon shark is said to be the largest to ever grace Earth’s oceans.

It’s thought to have gone extinct about 2.6million years ago.

A complete megalodon skeleton has never been found so it’s trickier for scientists to determine how large they were.

The general consensus is that the megalodon grew up to a staggering around 60 feet in length.

However, the animated video posted by popular creator @aleksey__n imagines a shark much larger than this.

The video looks more similar to the giant shark featured in the movie The Meg, which is about a modern-day megalodon.

TikToker @aleksey__n even captioned the video “Meg”.

One person commented: “If Megalodon’s were that big than that would be incredible.”

The video was also posted to YouTube by the talented artist.

Viewers there generally agreed on one thing.

One wrote: “This looks real, the edits are too realistic.”

Another said: “Not gonna lie, for the first five seconds I thought this was real.”

The 3D artist was widely praised for the scary and convincing video.
