He said: “If you’re like me and you’re sick of these charging cables being everywhere…
“You’re trying to drive and always catching them and breaking them… I’ve got a little hack for ya.”
The video then cuts with the man looking directly at the camera and holding up what looks like a car plug adaptor.
He added: “First of all get yourself one of these, a little 12V USB from eBay, they’re about £7.
“Then you’ve got to install it out of the way somewhere, like this one I did earlier.”
The camera then pans across to show it fitted on the passenger side of the car.
He continued: “You then drill a small hole in your dash and feed your wire through.
“Then you get a little rubber grommet and feed it over the cable.
“Then you put the little rubber grommet in the hole that you just drilled in your dash.
“When you want to charge your phone, pull the wire out and plug it in.”
“Nice and tidy, no more broken cables.”
