Addressing the scourge of bird poo they said: “There’s nothing worse.

“[This is] the safety and easiest way to remove bird droppings from paint.”

The first step is to apply a pre-wash spray to the affected area.

Pre-wash fluid can be picked up for as little as £3.50 online while basic spray bottles are available on Amazon for £2.49

Once you’ve sprayed it on, let it rest for a couple of minutes.

Around three to five minutes should be long enough for it to do its work.

Finally, rinse it off with a pressure washer to blast away the filth.

Based on the results in the video, the method will leave your car sparkling and rid it of the horrible stain.

If you don’t have a pressure washer, a good hose should do the job too.

In the worst-case scenario, a bucket filled with some soapy water and a sponge could have success, especially against lighter stains – but will require a bit of elbow grease.

Just make sure that you never use any kind of scourer or anything like steel wool as that runs the risk of scratching your paint.

Likewise, if you do go down the pressure washer route, be careful not to hold the nozzle too close to your motor or you could end up taking paint off with the poo.

Social media commenters loved the handy hack.

One wrote: “Good prewash that.”

The team from My Car Cleaning even replied suggesting it was “the best”.

Another joked: “Electric sander will fetch it off no problem.”

It comes after one driver revealed how he turned his tiny hatchback into a “stealth camper” in just 20 minutes.
