Updos! Waves! Volume! When it comes to the Golden Globes, Hollywood’s biggest names never shy away from a glamorous hair moment.
From Kiki Layne’s twisted updo in 2019 to Jessica Biel’s chignon accessory and Jessica Alba’s timeless beach waves in 2017, celebrities have gotten creative with their tresses through the years.
Lady Gaga served Us with an unforgettable coiffure at the 2019 ceremony. That evening, her signature blonde mane was colored blue and pulled up into an elaborate top knot by celebrity hairstylist Fredric Aspiras.
Aspiras opened up about the ‘do in a 2019 interview with Allure, sharing that “Gaga wanted to feel like herself” at the event, and the dye job was “inspired by the magnificent color” of her periwinkle Valentino dress.
The strapless piece included a voluminous A-line skirt and off-the-shoulder princess sleeves that cascaded into a train behind her.
For glam, makeup artist Sarah Tanno applied sparkly eyeshadow on the A Star is Born actress. She also donned dramatic lashes and glossy lips. To add even more glitter to the fit, Gaga sported a breathtaking diamond necklace, studs and bracelets.
Another memorable moment came from Tracee Ellis Ross at the 2017 soirée.
The Black-ish actress donned the perfect coily ponytail courtesy of stylist Araxi Lindsey. Her locks were slicked back in the front, revealing her voluminous mane in the back. To hide the hair band, the California native wrapped her brunette tresses around the tie.
The High Note star’s hairstyle complimented her Zuhair Murad getup. The maxi dress was covered in rhinestones and finished with a strapless neckline. She accessorized with diamond rings and sported a bright red lip.
