A classic 90s fast Ford is up for sale at auction, and set to go for an eye-watering price.
The 1996 Ford Escort Cosworth Lux has covered just 76 miles and has a guide price of between £150k and £180k.

Silverstone Auctions, who are handling the sale, has described the Lux model as ‘one of the best of its type they’ve seen, and it’s offered in ‘as new’ condition.
At the car‘s launch in 1994, two models were available – the Club-spec standard car and the ‘Lux’ version, which included electric windows, heated screen, sunroof, and Recaro seats.
Power was up slightly from the Sierra RS Cosworth, at 227bhp, and so performance was a little better, too.
This particular car is one of the last Escort Cosworth Lux versions produced and has had two owners from new.
It has been in storage throughout its cosseted life, and trailered for service check ups at a Ford specialist.
The car is so untouched that it hasn’t even had its number plates attached, with no drill holes to be found in the front bumper.
Silverstone Auctions said: “We have little doubt that this offering is unlikely to ever be matched in terms of its originality.”
“It would be incorrect to describe anything that’s nearly thirty years old as ‘new’ or ‘almost new’ but this remarkable little Cossie is about as close as you are likely to get.”
This comes after a Ford Sierra RS Cosworth with just 42,000 miles on the clock, is expected to fetch between £55,000 to £65,000 at an upcoming auction.
