Christmas Pics! Patrick Mahomes, Wife Brittany Celebrate Holiday With Kids

Christmas bliss! Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Matthews, are celebrating their first holiday season as a family of four.

“Merry Christmas from the Mahomes,” the married couple, both 27, captioned a Sunday, December 25, Instagram portrait with children Sterling, 22 months, and Bronze, 4 weeks.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and Matthews, who wed in March, celebrated Christmas morning at home with their little ones — all in matching red checked pajamas.

“New golfer in town! Had to be like Dada ,” the KC Current owner captioned an Instagram Story of Sterling riding in one of her holiday presents, which was a miniature golf cart.

Sterling, who also received a play kitchen on Sunday, wore plaid jammies that matched her mom, dad and little brother.

Sunday’s merry celebrations marked the Mahomes brood’s first Christmas as a family of four, one month after Bronze was born. The high school sweethearts — whose eldest daughter was born in February 2021 — welcomed son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III on November 28.

“My brother Jackson [Mahomes], whenever we were trying to find something that was a little unique and different, he said, ‘What about Bronze? It fits perfectly with Sterling,’” Patrick told reporters in November of choosing his baby boy’s moniker. “So, we went with that. …  It works out well. He can have his own thing now where he’s not Patrick, he’s Bronze, even though he’s Patrick. And, Sterling and Bronze can have that connection moving forward.”

Since welcoming baby Bronze, Patrick and the former soccer player have settled into their new normal as parents of two.

“Patrick and Brittany are in pure baby bliss right now,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month. “They have their families circulating in and out to help Patrick out with anything around the house. They are so happy with their growing family and love spending time with their new son.”

Patrick and Matthews, who got engaged after the Chiefs’ 2020 Super Bowl victory, have continued to share sweet social media snaps of Sterling bonding with her baby brother — at home and at the Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium.

“[Sterling’s] figuring it out. She wants to hold him, and take care of him, and everything like that,” the professional athlete said of his daughter becoming a big sister during a December interview on Kansas City’s “The Drive” radio show. “I think the only thing that she hasn’t figured out yet is why Mom has someone else that’s not her [that] she’s holding all the time, so she’s figuring that part out, but other than that she loves her little brother. She wants to play all day, and we have to tell her to be gentle. And we have to tell her to don’t throw him like a toy baby.”
