And he is set to watch the Blues take on Palace from the stands as Graham Potter’s side look to end a run of one win in ten league games, according to the Daily Mail.

Mudryk is also set to undergo a medical before flying back to Shakhtar Donetsk’s training camp in Turkey to finalise the deal.

Once the necessary paperwork is completed Mudryk will be officially unveiled as a Chelsea player, though the club has already dropped hints that he has signed.

Chelsea’s official Instagram account added Mudryk’s username to their bio, while Shakhtar also toyed with fans by posting a cryptic tweet.

Arsenal had hoped to sign Mudryk but had two bids rejected by the Ukrainian side.

Mudryk was aware of their interest and dropped several hints that he wanted a move to The Emirates.

The 22-year-old even shared a ‘prayer’ emoji while Arsenal were believed to be preparing a third bid.

That came after Mudryk shared photos of himself watching Arsenal take on West Ham and Brighton and called Mikel Arteta a “great manager”.
