Mason Mount is continuing to delay signing a new deal with ChelseaRex

He has been linked with a move to Liverpool at the end of the season if Chelsea are unable to tie him down to a long-term agreement.

And according to The Telegraph, there has been no breakthrough with regards to contract negotiations.

It is understood the London club will be forced to “make a decision” in the summer if they cannot pen new terms.

Some bosses at Stamford Bridge are said to be “resigned” to him not committing to the Chelsea project moving forward.

Mount has made 189 appearances for the Blues since breaking through into the first team in 2017.

He has contributed 33 goals and 37 assists, winning the Champions League in 2021 under Thomas Tuchel.

The versatile attacker has also racked up 36 caps for England, scoring five goals.

Earlier this month, it was reported he is looking to treble his current wages of £80,000-a-week.
