Chelsea ‘agree £15m transfer’ for Brazilian wonderkid likened to Neymar after Barcelona snubbed chance to sign him

CHELSEA are continuing to add players to their growing squad as they agree a fee to bring in a new Brazilian wonderkid.

The Blues have spent over £600million since Todd Boehly took over last season and they are about to spend even more.

Angelo Gabriel looks set to sign for Chelsea after they have agreed a deal with Santos

The club now look like they are about to add Brazilian youngster Angelo Gabriel from Santos to their list of summer signings.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have agreed a £15million deal for the 18-year-old.

Angelo has already featured 129 times for Santos at his young age, scoring five goals for the Brazilian outfit.

He has previously been likened to PSG star Neymar who also spent his formative years playing for Santos.

According to Romano, Barcelona have a right of first refusal to sign Angelo, but are expected turned down the option to activate the clause.

The Catalan side have 48 hours to match Chelsea’s bid for the tricky winger who’s contract expires in 2024.

Chelsea will be able to complete the deal if the clause isn’t activated and Angelo can become a Premier League player.

It is reported he will sign a deal until 2029 and join Chelsea on their pre-season before potentially going out on loan.
