CHARLTON’S League One clash with Cambridge has been thrown into chaos due to a water shortage at The Valley.

An official statement on the Addicks’ social media read: “We are currently experiencing a lack of supply of water to the stadium from our external supplier.

“The kick-off time remains unaffected but our catering and toilet facilities will be impacted. We will provide a further update in due course.”
