Caddyshack and Tron star Cindy Morgan dies age 69

Caddyshack star Cindy Morgan has died at the age of 69, People have reported.

Police told the publication that her body was found at her home in Florida on December 30.

The publication reports that her roommate called the police after she tried knocking on her door after returning home after being away for the holidays.

She is said to have died of natural causes and no foul play is suspected.

The late star is best known for her role as Lacey Underall in the 1980 film, Caddyshack.

It also starred the likes of Chevy Chase, Bill Murray and Michael O’Keefe.

She also played Yori in 1982’s Tron. 

Morgan was born Cynthia Ann Cichorski and hailed from Illinois.

She first worked as a weather presenter before turning to acting.

In recent years, Morgan turned to being a voice actor for Face of the Trinity and Face of the Father.

She previously said about Caddyshack, according to NBC Caddyshack’ was my first film and I’ll say that the end product was so completely different, it was originally about the caddies.”

“So at first, I had nothing to lose to audition. It was fun. All I did was focus on making the person sweat. Look ’em in the eye, do that thing many women know how to do.”
