Opening in Bognor Regis in autumn 2024, the Playxperience will be set across two floors covering 50,000 square feet.
During the day, the eight zones will feature “adrenaline-pumping activities.”
In the Escape Rooms, guests will hunt for clues and solve puzzles in a bid to break free from one of the themed worlds.
Plenty of traditional games will also be given a modern-day upgrade thanks to advancements in technology.
Guests will be able to throw “digital darts” inside the immersive AR hub known as Digi Darts.
And inside an AI-powered Batting Cage, visitors will be able to compete in a range of sports including baseball, tennis, lacrosse, and cricket.
The TechPutt zone will have three different 9-hole courses.
There will also be a Games Area featuring a variety of video games, and a Shuffleboard zone will have a unique playing surface complete with electric scoreboards.
Other entertainment zones include Laser Tag and Glow Pong – table tennis with a twist.
Meanwhile, in the evening, older guests will be able to experience interactive bar games.
Jon Hendry Pickup, CEO at Butlin’s said: “We are super excited to be bringing PLAYXPERIENCE to our Bognor Regis resort in 2024.
“This fantastic indoor space will be perfect for both our family guests and friends who join us on adult-only Big Weekenders throughout the year.
“We’re working with some of the very best in the industry to bring an incredible activity centre to Butlin’s.
“As the Home of Entertainment, we’re continually looking to create unforgettable experiences for our guests and when we open PLAYXPERIENCE next year we’re offering families and friends the best range of activities they could want, all in one place.”
Earlier this year, a brand new £2.5M playground opened at Butlin’s Skegness resort.
The Skypark opened its doors as of Monday, April 3 at the seaside resort and was designed specifically so children of all abilities can play together, shoulder to shoulder.
The new attraction features the UK’s longest seesaw, and four climbing towers, among other equipment.
However, the all-new playground is included in the price of a break, so guests won’t have to pay extra to use it.
There are deals for stays at Butlin’s available for this year, but there are still offers available for this year too.
It’s also worth keeping an eye out for Groupon deals like this throughout the year.
