Bukayo Saka gives heartwarming response to Arsenal fans who say they’d rather keep him than win the Premier League

BUKAYO SAKA was left stunned after hearing that Arsenal fans would forfeit winning the Premier League in order to keep him at the club.

He pipped the likes of Erling Haaland, Moises Caicedo and Gabriel Martinelli to the prize following an outstanding 2022-23 campaign, which saw him score 14 goals and provide 11 assists in 38 Premier League appearances.

After receiving his award, Saka was shown a series of clips whereby Arsenal fans were asked if they would rather win the Premier League and sell him or forfeit the title and keep him at the Emirates Stadium.

A number of supporters admitted they would rather keep the winger than win the title, leaving Saka stunned.

In the video, posted on social media by GOAL, one person said: “Never! That’s not worth it. That’s our star boy, that’s like your son.”

Another added: “Trust the process, keep Saka and win the Champions League next year.”

While a third suggested: “It’s not a deal worth even contemplating!”

Saka appeared stunned after watching the video and said: “Wait… to win the league or sell me? Wow that’s real love you know. That’s real talk. He said it’s not even contemplating!

“That’s real love, I appreciate that. And I hope I can pay off the faith.”

Saka has scored two goals in three Premier League appearances for Arsenal so far this season.

The Gunners currently sit fifth in the table, level on points with West Ham, Tottenham and Liverpool.
