Britney Spears declares ‘not having a voice for 13 years’ pushed her to ‘quit the business’

Britney Spears casually dropped that she “quit the business” as she reflected on her 14-year conservatorship in a now-deleted Instagram post.

The Oops I did it Again singer shared a throwback video of herself dancing to 2007’s Get Naked (I Got a Plan) that was captioned “This is a repost from Maui last year !!! I know it’s not that great BUT the song is my favorite song I’ve ever done !!!” as per Billboard.

The since-deleted post saw Spears, 41, reflecting on her time as a performer, noting that her dancers would take the stage during her performance of the hit song.

The Toxic singer has not released an album since August 2016 and her post triggered speculation that there would be no future albums.

Her admission comes amidst other celebrities working in show-business encouraging her return.
