BRIT tourists have been warned that they could face a £200 fine over an unknown driving rule abroad.
Getting on the road is a great way to see more of the country you’re travelling, but certain motors are banned in parts of the popular destination.

Like the UK, some Spanish cities have implemented Low Emission Zones to reduce air pollution from the most polluting vehicles.
These include buzzing tourist hotspots such as Barcelona and Madrid.
If you are planning to rent a car while in Spain, you should be aware that you could be slapped with a penalty for breaching this.
Designated to reduce air pollution levels, Spain’s low emission zones are enacted at certain times of the day.
Between 7am and 8pm from Monday to Friday, the only vehicles allowed to enter the Barcelona LEZ are those with an environmental label issued by the Spanish authorities.
Any Britons expecting to drive through Barcelona or any other city with a LEZ must register their foreign vehicles with the relevant authorities before they travel.
Experts at Airport Parking say older vehicles can apply for a temporary, 24-hour permit.
But be warned, those without a proper environmental label or registration can be fined up to a whopping €200 or £172.
Travel and Transport expert Andrew Chambers said: “When it comes to planning your summer holidays, doing your homework is absolutely crucial, especially if travelling to Spain this summer as their new Low Emission Zones (LEZ) could catch you out.
“There are certain areas that have restrictions on vehicles that don’t meet specific emission standards. If you plan to explore Spain by car, it’s crucial to familiarise yourself with these regulations.
“Failure to comply with the emission standards can lead to fines of up to £176 (€200). So, before embarking on your journey, make sure your vehicle meets the required emission standards to avoid any unnecessary trouble.
“It may not be the most exciting part of your trip, but trust me, adhering to these rules will ensure a smooth and worry free experience, allowing you to make the most of your well deserved holiday.
“Remember, your summer getaway should be a time to relax and unwind, not to deal with unforeseen complications.
“So, invest a little effort in researching your destination and you’ll not only avoid the risk of getting fined or arrested but also ensure a delightful and hassle free holiday.”
