Bob Saget’s widow Kelly Rizzo finds love again with Clueless star two years after husband’s death

Two years after becoming a widow following the death of her husband Bob Saget, Kelly Rizzo has confirmed her new romance.

While at the Grammys viewing party on February 4, Rizzo, 44, debuted her surprise relationship with Clueless star Breckin Meyer.

Rumours of the couple’s romance began swirling after they attended a red carpet hand-in-hand for a Janie’s Fund charity event.

The Eat Travel Rock host says that despite being ready to confirm her relationship with Meyer, 49, at the Grammys party, she told E! News that it took a while to be ready.

The Full House star passed away unexpectedly in 2022, whilst at a hotel in Florida. Rolling Stone later reported that his death was the result of an accidental head injury.

“It took a while,” Rizzo told E!, “to get to the point where I’m like, ‘OK, I think he’d be happy with it.””

Rizzo explained she also received the blessings of Saget’s daughters, Jennifer, whom he shared with ex-wife Sherri Krami and his other daughters Aubrey and Lara.

“It’s wonderful, it just meant so much to have their blessing,” Rizzo continued. “They’re just angels. And to have them support is so meaningful.”

She hopes to continue Saget’s legacy, ensuring people always know his contributions to Hollywood.

“I just love talking about him all the time and working with his foundation,” she said to E! “He’s never going anywhere.”

Last year, Rizzo told Fox News Digital that their consent wasn’t of crucial importance, but still something she valued from the people who “knew him best.”

“I’d love to think that Bob would want me to be happy too, but to hear it from them is just a totally different level,” she said.

“And it meant the world just to hear, ‘Hey, we trust you. We love you. We know you’re going to do what’s right, and we want you to be happy.'”
