Bizarre new poo attraction open in the UK – and it even has a vomiting robot

A NEW attraction in the UK turns its visitors into poo by taking them on a journey through the digestive system.

The exhibit promises to teach kids about the “surprising science behind tummy rumbles and bottom grumbles” with the help of a popular TV show and a vomiting robot.

Operation Ouch! Food, Poo and You opened at the Science and Industry Museum in Manchester earlier this summer, labelling itself “an unforgettable journey of super-sized science”.

Guests are guided by videos and illustrations of hosts Dr Chris, Dr Xand and Dr Ronx from the TV programme as they are “shrunk, swallowed and squeezed” through Dr Xand’s digestive system.

Kids get to learn about the function of each organ through the digestive system from tongue to bum, with interactive games, challenges, facts and objects from the Science Museum’s collection.

The journey begins when visitors enter through the mouth and play in a set of giant teeth to find out why they’re all different shapes.

Once in the stomach, they can “bop” the bad bacteria as quickly as they can in a fun reflex-testing game before meeting Larry the Vomiting Robot.

He will help any young scientists understand how bacteria and viruses in our vomit spread and make people sick

After that, kids can take a walk through the villi in the small intestine, where they can try and hit the high score in the nutrient toss game.

They can also chill out and soak up the atmosphere in the appendix, spin the wheel on the poo-duction line and guess the smells in the stink chamber.

Finally, guests put on a poo hat and prepare to get flushed down a giant toilet at the end of their digestion journey.

Once they make it out of the toilet, visitors are able to step back into the real world and explore the Doctors’ super-secret lab, packed with incredible experiments, as well as more games and surprises.

The Manc visited the exhibit after it opened, sharing footage of it on their Tiktok channel (@the.manc).

Their video has since been seen more than 49,000 times, with plenty of people excited by the exhibit.

One wrote: “I love this.”

Another said: “We’ve got tickets!”

A third added: “I wanna be a poo!”

The exhibit is running until June 9, 2024 in the museum’s special exhibitions gallery.

Tickets are £10 for adults, £9 for children, seniors and concessions and free for kids under three.

Meanwhile, this bizarre UK attraction is actually better to visit in bad weather.

And this ‘magical’ UK adventure park claims to be the strangest place in the world.
