Because regardless of if he’s rocking insanely tall platform shoes, an absurdly amazing beauty look or blinged out to the max, the Pose actor certainly knows how to make a splash with his style.

Rewind the clock to the 2021 Emmys, and Porter shut down the red carpet from the second he stepped on the scene. Wearing a custom ensemble from Ashi Studio, complete with wings no less, glitzy ear cuffs and a statement necklace from Lorraine Schwartz and heels courtesy of Harry Halim, Porter served up a whole freakin’ look.

The actor doesn’t always stick to a pair pants though. He can rock a dress like no other. Take his outfit at the 2020 Oscars for example. He showed up in a printed Giles Deacon dress worthy of an award.

Perhaps one his most memorable fashion moment however came to pass at the 2019 Academy Awards, when he shut down the red carpet custom tuxedo ball gown created by Christian Siriano. The velvet piece was voluminous, breathtaking and all-around amazing.

Earlier that year, he proved that he had a penchant for color, rocking a pink and red number  to the 2019 Tony Awards. The satin and tulle outfit featured 30,000 Swarovski crystals as well as recycled fabric from a curtain backdrop from Broadway’s Kinky Boots, for which he won a Best Actor Tony in 2013. That detail made the ensemble not just gorgeous, but nostalgic and sustainable, to boot!

In addition to his daring fashion choices, Porter also turns well-coiffed heads with his bold beauty moves — and we want more!
