BILLIONAIRE horse owner Tom Magnier left viewers ‘absolutely astounded’ with his surprise gift for a groom in the winner’s enclosure.

Cameras caught Magnier handing the groom a roll of cash
And one of their most promising horses looks to be the exciting Switzerland.
The two-year-old colt is unbeaten in two races for Coolmore and is being talked of as a Golden Slipper winner – the richest race in the world for two-year-olds worth £2.6million.
But Magnier – who once gave punters the chance to win a Ferrari – was spotted splashing his own cash after Switzerland’s win last weekend.
The horse was back in the winner’s enclosure being cooled down when cameras caught Magnier in the thick of the action.
He made his way over to the horse’s groom and slyly snuck a wad of cash into the young lad’s hand.
Video of the incident quickly spread online with punters full of praise for Magnier’s generosity.
One said they were ‘absolutely astounded’ by his kindness and willingness to help out.
Another wrote: “An old tradition kept alive. He always does it in fairness to him.”
One comment read: “Well done, not many still do that. Classy.”
A fellow viewer posted: “Love that.”
While others said ‘got to love this’ and ‘how good’.
Switzerland had just won £43,000 so it’s no surprise Magnier felt like helping out a trusted stable lad.
The horse’s earnings from just two races are at £86,000 but that could easily go into six figures with victory in the Golden Slipper at the end of March.
