Best hotel breakfast buffet in the world has ‘unlimited steak and beer’ for just £12

A BREAKFAST buffet on holiday can often be a strange experience with a confusing range of cuisines on offer.

And one hotel has gone one further – offering unlimited steak and pints of beer for breakfast.

The Beach Tower Okinawa in Japan is a seaside hotel located 40 minutes by car from Naha Airport, Okinawa.

It’s sister hotel to the Dormy Inn hotel chain, known for some of the best breakfasts in Japan.

However, the hotel’s restaurant, Chula Teeda, is what sets it apart thanks to its unbelievable morning buffet spread.

Upon entering the restaurant on the hotel’s first floor, guests are greeted with a mix of Japanese and Western-style dishes.

While the usual suspects like scrambled eggs and sliced fruit are on the menu, it’s the unexpected offerings that make this one of the most memorable breakfast buffets for guests.

This includes all-you-can-eat steak, made from “premium, locally raised” Motobu beef.

Casey Baseel, a reporter for SoraNews24, tried the buffet and said: “If you wake up with a big appetite, The Beach Tower Okinawa’s breakfast buffet has a plate of hamburger patties next to a box of buns and all the fixings you need to make as many breakfast burgers as you want.

“The buffet also has all-you-can-eat steak. What’s more, these steaks are premium Okinawa-raised Motobu beef.”

Baseel describes the steaks as “tender, juicy, and thick” and could “go back for as many more slices as we wanted.”

In the drink corner, guests will find three self-serve draft beer machines, offering Asahi Beer, Suntory’s Premium Malts and Orion – a favourite local brew.

They continued: “We figured these had to be for the dinner buffet the hotel has in the same spot.

“But nope, The Beach Tower Okinawa is proud to offer all-you-can-drink beer from 7am in the morning, even going so far as to post signs letting everyone know about it.”

If you can stomach drinking beer for breakfast, the hotel makes sure guests are served the beer in a frosted mug.

And if steak and beer weren’t enough, the buffet also includes a Okinawan speciality – Blue Seal ice cream – with flavours including Ube, sugar cane and mil tea.

The buffet features other local dishes such as goya chanpuru (stir-fried bitter melon), umi budo (sea grapes) and taco rice.

What’s more, the buffet doesn’t cost the earth, costing 2,200 Yen (about £12) for hotel guests and 3,300 yen (£18) for non-guests.

We’ve rounded up some of the fanciest hotel breakfasts in the world, which include £78 scrambled eggs.

And here are the six foods you should never eat at the breakfast buffet.
