The fast food chain shakes up its food offering every six weeks or so.
This time around it’s the Easter menu being scrapped to make way for seven new items.
The seasonal offering included a mixture of new and returning dishes.
Both the Hot Cross Bun Pie and the Hot Cross Bun Latte made their debut, while the McCrispy Deluxe Burger made a comeback.
Foodies are preparing in particular to say goodbye to the much-loved Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry which is welcomed onto the Maccies menu with open arms every year at around this time.
It swirls soft dairy ice cream with pieces of Cadbury Dairy Milk and is topped with a Creme Egg sauce.
Foodies were thrilled when they returned last month and several have now begged for the McFlurry to be made permanent ahead of their axing in a few days’ time.
Posts on social media were flooded with comments from eager fast-food fans.
One said: “ITS LIKE THEY KNOW IM HAVING A BAD TIME BECAUSE THEY BRING OUT THE CREME EGG MCFLURRY.”
Another wrote: “CRÈME EGG MCLFURRY AND HALLOUMI FRIES I’m never gonna be skinny for summer.”
A third commented: “Can we just make the creme egg mcflurry permanent.”
A fourth posted: “Crème Egg mc fluffy is my faveeeeeeeeee!”
While a fifth said: “Omg Creme Egg McFlurry, might have to treat myself.”
“Creme Egg McFlurry I neeeeeed it,” another fan said.
The sweet treat will set you back £2.19 for a regular and £1.59 for a mini.
But you’ll need to be quick because it’s only around until the end of the day on Tuesday.
An almost equal number of comments online were posted by people itching to get their hands on Halloumi Fries which is also being cut.
One wrote: “HALLOUMI FRIES ARE BACK!”
A third commented: “Those Halloumi Fries are unreal.”
A fourth posted: “KEEP THE HALLOUMI FRIES AS A PERMANENT ITEM I love them so much.”
While a fifth said: “I’ve been dreaming of the Halloumi Fries.”
And a sixth wrote: “Please make Halloumi Fries permanent.”
“Yes, Halloumi Fries are back,” another eager foodie commented.
Although some feared the snacks would in fact be made kept on.
A fan declared: “Please God, don’t let Mcdonald’s have Halloumi Fries permanently. I’ll be like the size of a house.”
You can pick up a pack of the cheesy treats for £2.79 for a pack, or £7.39 for a sharebox.

How do I find my nearest McDonald’s?
If you’re planning on taking a trip to McDonald’s, you’ll want to know where your nearest branch is.
The chain has a restaurant locator tool on its website you can use to find your nearest one – and check what time it opens.
Bear in mind that McDonald’s serves breakfast every day until 11am.
After that, the menu switches to the normal menu serving meals such as burgers, chicken nuggets and more.
How to save money at McDonald’s
You might not think it, but you can end up being charged more solely based on the McDonald’s restaurant you choose.
Research by The Sun found a Big Mac meal can be up to 30p cheaper at restaurants just two miles apart from each other.
Meanwhile, you can pick up a Big Mac and fries for just £2.99 by filling in a feedback survey found on any old McDonald’s receipt.
The receipt should come with a 12-digit code which you can enter into the Food for Thought website alongside your submitted survey.
You’ll then receive a five-digit code which is your voucher for the £2.99 offer.
Make sure you check out all the various apps and platforms if you’re ordering McDonald’s to your home too.
Our research found some can charge up to £1.20 more than others.
Meanwhile, we tried the McDonald’s Easter menu before it launched.
