Beat The Chasers fans all say the same thing as contestant triumphs

BEAT The Chasers fans were stunned by a contestants outstanding performance on Monday’s episode.

Retired civil servant Susie was hoping to win at least £2,000 to purchase a pair of opal earrings and to “treat her family”.

The avid quizzer got two questions correct in her cash builder before winning a whopping £50,000 with just three seconds still under her belt.

She took on all the chasers, saying she wanted to “go big or go home”.

After her win, she jumped around the studio with Bradley Walsh and shrieked with joy.

Sue exclaimed: “I can’t believe it, how lucky am I?”

Bradley interjected: “You’re not lucky at all, you played fantastically well.

“That was brilliant, there was some great answers in there.”

In disbelief, Sue repeated: “Oh my gosh, I really can’t believe it.”

She admitted she plans to push the boat out and splash out on a matching necklace.

The Chasers graciously accepted defeat and congratulated Sue on the big win.

ITV viewers were stunned that the player managed to outwit the Chasers, with one writing: “Sue Simply, magnificent Congratulations #Beatthechasers.”

Another posted: “#beatthechasers WOW 60 GRAND BACK TO KENT GOOD ON HER

“Fair play Sue. Enjoy your earrings. #BeatTheChasers,” a third said.

Another added: “Well done Sue. The Chasers underestimated you and you showed them. Enjoy your earrings #BeatTheChasers”

Someone else echoed: “How AMAZING was Sue’s win tonight?”

But not all viewers were happy after a last minute schedule change.

Fans of the channel were tuned in to watch The Big Quiz: Coronation Street Vs. Emmerdale, but things didn’t go to plan.

One blasted the channel on Twitter, telling them to “get your s**t together.”

Another wrote: “Erm why is my Sky TV guide telling me that #BeatTheChasers is on instead of the #BigSoapQuiz?”

They added: What’s going on?”

They’d all been geared up to watch the 2022 version of The Big Quiz, which sees beloved soap stars go head-to-head.

Whilst the quiz was initially listed on the schedule for Monday, December 5 at 9:15pm, it will now air on ITV1 on Friday December 9 at 9:15pm.
