According to People, Foskett battled anaplastic thyroid cancer.

The Cleveland Clinic says anaplastic thyroid cancer is “a rare and very aggressive form of thyroid cancer”.

Hailing from California, Foskett became a musician for The Beach Boys in the ’80s and also had a successful solo career.

He announced his cancer diagnosis in 2019.

Actor John Stamos shared a tribute to Foskett on Instagram and said that he’s “lost more than a friend; I lost a part of my soul” in a heartbreaking post.
