The popular discount supermarket mainly sells frozen and prepared meals and vegetables.
It comes after several Iceland stores already shut this year.
A spokesperson for Iceland said: “The Trinity Street, Huddersfield store is due to close on October 28, we anticipate many of our customers will instead choose to shop at the nearby Food Warehouse on Great Northern Retail Park.
“We typically open more than 20 new stores each year, creating many new jobs and contributing to the growth of local economies.
“At the same time, we continually review the retail experience offered to our customers and have always made a small number of store closures every year, as local shopping patterns change and shop leases expire.”
The branch in Huddersfield isn’t the first Iceland store to disappear from the high street.
Its shop in Llanelli closed on September 12 while one in Birkenhead and another in Crewe will shut on September 16.
These follow a rafter of closures from earlier this year:

The high street has seen a whole raft of closures in recent months, and more are on their way.
Farmfoods store in Market Street, Huddersfield, is to close on Sunday, September 24.
Central Co-op is closing down one of its branches in Atherstone, Coventry this month.
However, all is not lost for shoppers as the branch will be taken over by supermarket giant Tesco.
Wetherspoons is also pulling the plug on some of its pubs.
The Six Chimneys in Wakefield will shut to punters on Monday, September 18 to undergo redevelopment.
The Widow Frost in Mansfield will be pulling its final pints on September 17.
Shoezone will pull the shutters down on one of its stores in its latest round of closures.
House of Fraser confirmed to The Sun that its branch in Guildford will shut on Saturday, September 30.
Its store in Solihull closed on Monday, August 28.
Retailers have been feeling the pinch since the pandemic while shoppers are cutting back on spending due to soaring inflation.
High energy costs and a shift to shopping online after the pandemic are also taking a toll and many high street shops have struggled to keep going.
