The Polish striker earned and then converted an 86th-minute penalty to earn them the away win, just a week after his winner in the 4-3 thriller against Villarreal.
Lewandowski’s strike arrived just ten minutes after Chimy Villa had pounced to level Barcelona defender’s Jules Kounde’s first half header.
That win kept Xavi’s team two points behind leaders Real Madrid – but unfortunately for Gavi he received a nasty memento from the occasion due to a sickening injury.
The 19-year-old Spanish midfielder’s ear had to be stapled up after he was caught in a nasty challenge with rival Ruben Garcia at El Sadar.
Gavi was caught on camera after the incident grimacing in pain as blood spurted down his ear.
He was bravely able to continue after receiving lengthy medical treatment to finish the game.
However, following the game the club’s official Twitter account shared a snap of their ace with a number of staples on his wound.
Meanwhile, it was a landmark night for the playmaker as he became the youngest player to make his 100th Barcelona appearance.

He said: “It’s a dream to reach 100 matches at Barca. I’m so proud.
“We would have lost this game two years ago, it’s one of the things we’ve improved with this coach.”
Gavi is now set to link up with the Spain national team for their Euro qualifiers against Georgia and Cyprus.
