And desperate to get the game going again with the Cottagers 2-0 down, the German was seemingly unhappy with the fact the pitchside assistant held the ball out for the goalkeeper to collect rather than throwing it to him.

So when Leno collected it, he gave the kid a shove in the chest.

And that sparked a furious reaction from fans who slammed the ex-Arsenal star for his behaviour.

But the alarming scenes at the Vitality Stadium echoed those at Swansea in 2013.

Then 17, Charlie Morgan was on duty at the Liberty Stadium as a ballboy the League Cup semi-final against Chelsea.

And as the Swans edged closer to a Wembley final, Morgan grasped his moment to waste some more time with two hands as he held on to the ball.

Frustrated Hazard was eager to get the ball back in play as Chelsea needed two goals to level the tie.

And he kicked out to try and loosen the ball from Morgan’s grip as the teenager lay on the ground shielding it – prompting the Belgian winger to get sent off.

However, Morgan’s success goes far beyond his moment in the spotlight more than a decade ago.

That is because Charlie – son of Swansea City director and owner of Morgan’s Hotel, Martin Morgan – is one of the richest young people in Britain after setting up a premium vodka company with a school friend.

Au Vodka launched in 2015 and has enjoyed a steady rise in sales of their flavoured spirits over the years to now be worth more than £150million.

The brand continues to be endorsed by a host of household names including the likes of ex-footballer Ronaldinho, club owner Wayne Lineker, rapper Big Narstie and even boxing legend Floyd Mayweather.

Charlie and Jackson Quinn both entered the young Sunday Times Rich List in 2022 and the latest edition had the pair in joint-27th with their estimated individual wealth now standing at around £55m.

That placed them both ahead of popstar Niall Horan (£54m), England captain Harry Kane (£51m) and model Cara Delevingne (£50m) on the list of Brits aged under 35.
