Balogun plundered 21 goals in Ligue 1, putting himself on the radar of some of Europe’s elite clubs.
SunSport revealed last week that Gunners chiefs have slapped a £35million price tag on the 21-year-old starlet.
But many Arsenal fans would prefer to see him get a chance in the team.
Balogun was up bright and early this morning, getting fans talking with his social media output.
Posting from Enfield, he used an egg timer emoji before writing: “It is time!”
One fan replied: “Are you staying mate?”
While a second wrote: “Time to return home and fight for your place in the team.”
A third asked: “what does this mean???”

Another demanded: “Stay and fight for your place man.”
Should he remain at the Emirates, Balogun could initially find himself stuck behind Gabriel Jesus, Eddie Nketiah and new signing Kai Havertz in the pecking order.
RB Leipzig and both Milan clubs are among the European sides believed to be monitoring Balogun’s situation.
While Marseille are the latest team to be credited with an interest, as they chase a strike partner for ex-Gooner Alexis Sanchez.
Today is known by some in the trade as the “unofficial transfer deadline day”.
That’s because deals done before midnight tonight count towards financial accounts for the 2022-23 season.
This can play a huge role in meeting Financial Fair Play regulations, particularly for teams that have spent big money.
Arsenal spent over £160m on signings last season, before forking out another £65m on Havertz.
They have only received around £20m in player sales over this period, following the departures of Matteo Guendouzi, Lucas Torreira, Bernd Leno and Konstantinos Mavropanos.
