Arsenal appoint ‘Tekkers guru’ named Hussein Isa in newly-created role of attacking-phase coach to help their strikers

MIKEL ARTETA has appointed a new member of staff to his Arsenal backroom team.

The Gunners have made Hussein Isa, who is known as the “Tekkers Guru”, their new attacking-phase coach.

The role will see the 34-year-old former non-league attacking midfielder work with both the first-team squad and academy starlets.

According to The Athletic, the nickname of “Tekkers Guru” comes from the huge following he has gained for showcasing his skills and free-kick ability online. 

Now Arsenal are hoping that he will “provide specialist assistance” to their forward players and will be mainly focusing on their shooting, heading and touch.
