Banks and the London Stock Exchange will close in England and Wales over the Christmas period.
Since it’s a bank holiday, you shouldn’t expect your local bank to be open either.
This will mean that you’ll have to go without using branch services on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and the substituted Christmas Day Bank Holiday on Tuesday, December 27.
Cash machines will remain unaffected so you’ll still be able to get cash out during the period of branch closures.
We’ve listed which banks have confirmed that they’ll be closing their doors later this week below.
Barclays
Barclays branches will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and on December 27.
Opening times for the remainder of next week will return to normal.
