Another major supermarket starts stocking sell-out Prime drinks – but you’ll need to be quick

A MAJOR supermarket has confirmed it is now stocking the Prime sports drink.

Co-op is selling two flavours of the viral beverage in its supermarkets now.

But if you’re hoping to stock up in store, you might have to be quick as Co-op has said it has already been “highly popular” and that stock is low.

Below we have listed the flavours that are available at Co-op, along with their prices:

Blue raspberry – £2.39Ice pop Prime Hydration – £2.39

The drinks are available in more than 800 Co-op stores.

You can find your nearest store by using the locator tool on the supermarket’s website.

Rapper KSI put aside his boxing rivalry with US Youtuber Logan Paul to launch Prime in 2022.

The pair said they wanted to create a drink that would rival PepsiCoke, Powerade and Gatorade.

Shoppers can buy a Prime drink as part of Co-op’s lunchtime meal deal, which comes with a main, for example a sandwich or a pasta pot, and a side for £4.

Co-op members can get the meal deal for £3.50.

A membership costs £1 and customers can access the retailer’s new member prices to help shoppers save money.

It is also available to buy at Asda for £2 – 39p cheaper than Co-op.

Asda shoppers can also get their hands on the lemon ice flavour, which isn’t currently available at Co-op.

Prime was first sold in Asda outlets, but back in December last year, Aldi started selling the drink too.

Shoppers rushed to buy the drink, with fights breaking out in some stores as people desperately tried to get their hands on a bottle.

Eventually, Aldi had put a one-flavour limit in place.

What is the Prime drink?

The Prime drink comes in seven flavours: Ice Pop, Blue Raspberry, Tropical Punch, Lemon and Lime, Meta Moon, Orange and Grape.

All the drinks are made up of 10% coconut water and come with B vitamins, BCAA’s for muscle recovery and electrolytes.

All seven flavours are currently sold out on the official Drink Prime website.

The drink is also currently on sale in the US.

The drinks were created by YouTube megastar Logan Paul and KSI, who have nearly 50million subscribers combined.

We tested Prime to see if it lived up to the hype and found that one flavour tasted like soapy water.

Meanwhile, we tried DIY Greggs from supermarkets – and one sausage roll gave us a big surprise.
