Fortunately, there are a bunch of free TV streaming apps available on the Amazon Fire Stick.
They are supported by apps to keep content free.
And some don’t even require you to sign up first either.
Here are some to check out.
Free Movies Plus
Free Movies Plus claims to have more than 6,000 free blockbuster movies available to watch.
New titles are added each week.
One user wrote in the reviews: “Watched first free movie… and it was great. If other free films are as good I’ll be well pleased.
“It’s a bit strange the way the movie stops dead in its tracks for adverts but I can live with that. Not too many adverts though.”
UKTV Play
UKTV Play offers free access to thousands of TV show episodes.
You can watch Dave, Yesterday, Drama & W channels live and on-demand, as well as new and exclusive UKTV originals.
One fan wrote: “Fabulous streaming programming option for a variety of shows from BBC, ITV, and other channels.”
FilmRise
FilmRise says it has over 10,000 hours of free movies and TV available to watch.
Expect films featuring big names such as Nicolas Cage, Nicole Kidman, Jason Statham, Samuel L. Jackson, Whoopi Goldberg, Halle Berry, Daniel Craig and Russell Crowe.
Despite having favourable reviews for content, some have complained about the number of adverts.
“Great app with my fave program but the adverts are too repetitive!” one watcher wrote.
Blaze TV
You may have heard of the Blaze TV channel.
Well, the station also has an app filled with shows to watch on-demand, including Pawn Stars, Mountain Men, Ice Road Truckers, Storage Wars, American Restoration, The First 48 and Unusual Suspect.
“Blaze is great for whittling away hours on entertaining junk TV, can’t fault it, mostly History Channel spin-offs and general American trashy TV but I like it,” one user said.
Filmzie
Filmzie says it has more than 1000 titles to watch.
New movies and shows are added every week.
“Some good movies if you hunt around…” one reviewer commented.
“Some weird ‘under-budget’ movies on there too that are not worth a watch. Hard to find a decent movie.”
