Football presenter Alex and singer Jess had eased into their Christmas get-away by relaxing on a beach.
But they revved it with the type of sporty activities that most people save to be New Year’s resolutions.
The Sun revealed in October they were dating and this month they have shared pictures together on Instagram.
Former Arsenal and England defender Alex, 39, posed with 34-year-old Jess at the BBC Sports Personality Of The Year Awards.
The BBC and Sky Sports broadcaster then posted photos alongside the songwriter as they sipped drinks in bikinis on a beach lined with palm trees.
And now they are happy to display their more intrepid side.
Clips on Alex’s Instagram story show them plunging into crystal-clear blue water inside a cave.
She is also seen roaring along on a quad-bike – with Jess waving excitedly at the back – as they pass thick foliage.
And their smiles were just as big when they put on helmets to zip-line above giant trees in the jungle.
The pair went public with their relationship at the BBC SPOTY event.
Following a group photo, Jess took a selfie of just the two of them.
Perhaps the lyricist should now pen a version of “Jungle Bell Rock” to further showcase their festive happiness.
