The Football Focus presenter presented the ceremony alongside Gabby Logan, Gary Lineker and Clare Balding.
As part of the momentous night, Mary Earps won the main award.
It was the second successive year that a Lioness has scooped up the main gong after Euros hero Beth Mead won the 2022 award.
Scott captioned her Instagram with: “The 70th BBC sports personality of the year
“Last show of 2023 and ending it on a high. Huge congratulations @1maryearps keeping breaking those glass ceilings. congratulations to everyone who was honoured on the evening and to all nominees.
“Sport has always had the power to inspire in so many ways and I look forward to another incredible year in which sport continues to do so ”
As part of the photo dump on Instagram, she highlighted Earps’ historic win.
She also uploaded snaps from the red carpet which featured her in an elegant red dress.

She was supported throughout the gala by her partner Jess Glynne who watched from the VIP seats in Manchester.
