ALDI has revealed its Valentine’s Day meal deal for two is coming back on shelves in welcome news to loved up couples.
The bargain three course meal works out at less than £4 per person and is even cheaper than last year.
Aldi’s Valentine’s Day deal will be back in stores within weeks
The discount supermarket’s deal includes a starter, main and desert for £7 for two, though the exact cost depends on which items you choose.
There are five set menu options, and you can add wine to each meal, but this will make it slightly pricier.
Shoppers take to social media every year to heap praise on Aldi’s deal.
Commenting on last year’s offering, one shopper said: “Top notch Aldi. Absolutely delicious and great quality.”
While another wrote: “This is amazeballs, well done Aldi!”
The cheapest offering this year is Aldi’s “Cheapest Three-Course Deal” in at £6.77 – or £3.38 each, without wine.
If you add a bottle of Grapevine Sauvignon Blanc, it will be or £10.86 for two, or £5.43 each.
This year’s deal is cheaper than last year, despite rising food prices.
Last year’s deal was priced at £7.67 for two without wine or £11.26 with with wine – a saving of 40p.
This year’s deal has exactly the same starter and main, but the desert and wine offering is different.
In 2023, shoppers could tuck into a chocolate melt in the middle heart, but this year’s pudding is a white chocolate and raspberry panna cotta.
Last year’s wine offering was a bottle of Grapevine pinot grigio, which Aldi has swapped for a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc for 2024.
Steak fans can also get a “wonderful wagu” meal for £10.27 for two, or £16.56 with a bottle of Specially Selected Argentinian Malbec.
Aldi fans will be able to grab the deal in Aldi stores from February 9 up until Valentine’s Day on February 14.
But you’ll have to be quick, as the deal as proven to be popular in the past and stock will be subject to availability.
You can find your nearest Aldi by using the store locator tool on the retailer’s website.

How to save at Aldi
Aldi is known for its Specialbuys and there are even ways to save cahs on them.
Read the Specialbuys leaflet online and you’ll see you can order items online days before they’re available in-store.
If something is super popular, it sells out fast online and there’s less stock delivered to the shops.
It’s always better to look online for them as this is when many of those high-priced items get discounted.
Aldi keeps costs low by limiting the bulk of its merchandise to its private-label brands.
While there are some branded products on sale, such as Coca-Cola, Aldi’s own versions have often been found to be just as good and cheaper
Aldi restocks regular items on Wednesdays and speciality products are restocked on Sundays.
Plan your shopping trips on these days to take advantage of new stock arrivals.
Or, shop the evenings before when unsold previous stock may be reduced to clear.
