AFL star Corey Wagner and Michaela Caione have said ‘I do’ in a lavish Bali ceremony. But not everything went according to plan on the big day.
The couple announced they recently tied the knot at Villa The Sanctuary Bali after an 18-month long engagement.
Caione shared the happy news to social media alongside a series of photos of the couple celebrating their special day abroad, surrounded by family and friends.

“A dream come true,” she wrote to Instagram. “There are simply no words to describe this day.”
“Married my best friend in front of the most special people in the world, in the most special place.”
However, the bride revealed the “perfect” day had some pretty memorable hiccups.
“Even with the torrential rain, a guest fainting, bridesmaid spewing halfway through the ceremony and missing guests, it all added to the story of the most perfect day!”

Despite the unexpected drama with the unfavourable weather and absentee attendees, Caione finished the post by declaring with a hashtag that she was “grateful.”
The newlyweds shared a part two post from the ceremony, including the emotional moment the two said their vows at the altar with the caption “Marrying my best friend.”
Caione stunned in a chic slip gown with a stunning low back and pearl necklace and embellishment on the veil.

The bride finished her elegant look with a stylish up-do and natural bouquet as she shed a tear walking down the aisle.
The final snap showed the pair sharing a sweet kiss after they were married beneath a gorgeous flower arch.

Wagner posted a clip of the moment he got down on one knee, sound-tracked to the song Falling by Harry Styles.
“To my fiancée, YES! In this lifetime and the next, I love you,” he wrote.
“Obsessed with you 💍 @corey.wagnerr” Caione wrote in a follow up post with close up shots of the sparkling engagement ring.
“Perfect in every single way, how did I get so lucky.”
Wagner is the latest AFL star to tie the knot after Zachery Williams recently married his partner Rachel in Melbourne.
